Adams, Wells counties report 2nd deaths

    A second Adams County resident has reportedly died from COVID-19, according to information provided on the Indiana State Department of Health website. A request for information from Adams County Health Officer Mike Ainsworth was not answered prior to press time Friday, while the Adams County Health Department declined to comment.
    As of Friday afternoon, 1,829 local residents have been tested for the virus, with 74 positive cases and two deaths.
    Locally, demographics provided by the Indiana State Department of Health show 9.5% of positive cases in the Adams County are residents ages 0-19; 12.2% are 20-29 years old; 10.8% are 30-39; 18.9% age 40-49; 14.9% are age 50-59; 21.6% are 60-69 years old; 12.2% are 70-79; and 0 are age 80 or older.
