All 3 county school boards release agendas for Tuesday meetings

    The North Adams board of education will meet in executive session at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the district administration building, 625 Stadium Drive, to discuss the job performance of individual employees.

    Following the executive session, the board will meet in regular session at 6 p.m., also in the district administration building.  
    Items on that agenda include personnel, program update, second reading of the 2017-18 student handbook, first reading of classified and transportation handbooks, approval of elementary and middle school book fees, NA summer food program and summer school staffing.
    Other items listed include donations, superintendent's report, report on transportation, building and grounds and other matters to come before the board.

    The Adams Central Community Schools’ board of education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school library.
    On the agenda is finance action items including approval of payment vouchers, valic resolution and to hire part time IT and CO assistants.
    Policy board action items to include the new building project and approval of high school textbook adoption, high school course, football field
recommendation, handbooks, overnight and out of state trips, summer programs and facility use. There will also be a policy review.
    Personnel board action items will include approval of maternity leave, retirement, to accept resignation and to hire.
    The meeting will end with the superintendent’s report.

    The South Adams Schools Building Corporation board of trustees will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the high school room 511.
    Items on the agenda include Examples in Excellence, approval of minutes and claims, reports/updates on the the facility and high school renovation project, funding for future renovation projects, disposal of surplus equipment, student handbooks, textbook adoption, field trip requests and personnel.
