Arnold leads South Adams to win over Winchester

For the first time in the history of Harry Anderson Field, there were more fans outside the fences than there were inside, but that did not seem to bother the #3-ranked South Adams Starfires and their high-octane offense, as they went on to win their home opener, 41-8.

James Arnold picked up right where he left off on Friday night, rifling passes deep down the field, sometimes finding more than one receiver attempting to haul in the ball and jumping out to an early 14-0 lead on the Golden Falcons.

Arnold couldn’t miss in the early going, finding Drew Stutzman deep on the right sideline for a 42-yard completion on the Starfires’ first possession. Arnold then found his favorite target, Nick Miller across the middle for 13 yards and Christian Summersett
