Family LifeCare, 108 S. Jefferson St., Berne, will host a Tree of Hope memorial service at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 in the Fellowship Hall at Cross Community Church, 315 W. Main Street, Berne. Visitors are asked to use the north entrance.
According to a press release from the agency, "This annual service is in remembrance and celebration of family, friends and community members who have passed away."
The event includes a "Message of Light, a time to share memories about your loved one and illumination and decoration of the Family LifeCare tree with a personalized bulb ornament that will have your loved ones name and date of death painted on it."
Participants are asked to bring a picture or item to share of their loved one to share.
Light refreshments will be served following the tree lighting. The decorated tree at 265 W. Water Street, Berne, will remain illuminated through the holiday season.
Those who are unable to attend may reserve an ornament in memory of their loved one, and Family LifeCare staffers will place it on the tree for viewing. In addition, with a donation to Family LifeCare, participants may request and receive a beautiful commemorative crystal angel ornament with the name of their loved to take home as a keepsake," the release concludes.
