Fuelling gets 1000th, Braves beat Bluffton

The Bellmont Braves (9-9) were back in action at home Friday night verses the Bluffton Tigers (14-5). The Braves are riding a two game winning streak against two quality opponents and are looking to build on that momentum heading into sectional play. Games have more meaning this late in the season and the Braves have high aspirations during tournament play. This game was a good measuring stick for the Braves.

The first 12 minutes of the game the Braves clung to marginal leads in a back and forth battle between two quality teams. The end of the half saw Bluffton get open for some easy baskets to gain the lead, and they built on that lead, ending the half on a 6-0 run, taking a 20-15 lead into halftime.

The second half saw much of the same back and forth between the Braves and Tigers.
