Good Friday, other hours set

IN DECATUR
    City Operations Manager Jeremy Gilbert announced Decatur City Hall will be closed March 30 in observance of Good Friday, however normal trash collection routes will continue to run.         Gilbert also reported heavy trash day will take place the first week of April 1-7, and yard waste collection will begin the week of April 8.

IN BERNE
    The City of Berne offices will be closed Friday for Good Friday.
    Thursday and Friday’s trash pick up will be Thursday, there will be no stick and limb pick-up Friday and the compost site will be closed Friday.
    If a water leak needs to be reported, call the Berne Police Department at 589-2169
    Shred day will be from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. May 12.
    New hours for the compost site are from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday.

INDIANA BMV    
    The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles announced all license branches will be closed Friday in observance of the Good Friday holiday.
    Branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours on Saturday.
