Despite a ransomware attack that put a virus on computer systems of the Adams Health Network on January 11, no interruption in patient care or to the quality and safety of patient care was experienced according to AHN Chief Executive Officer Jo Ellen Eidam.

“We did experience a business interruption throughout the weekend as we worked to restore the affected servers but patient care was never interrupted,” Eidam stressed, adding “we are continuing to assess the severity of the situation, but at this time we believe no patient files have been accessed.”
