Silver Alert canceled for missing New Haven girl

    The New Haven Police Department announced the search for the child is over, as she has been found. Original story follows:

    A Silver Alert was issued across Indiana early Monday for a 6-year-old New Haven girl.
    New Haven Police are investigating the disappearance of Leila Veney, who was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Veney is a black female, standing 4 feet tall, weighing 50 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a pink jacket, purple unicorn shirt, black tiger print leggings and black boots.
    She is believed to be in extreme danger.
    Leila Veney may be in the company of her non-custodial parent, Leon Veney, a 34 year old black male, standing 6 feet 9 inches tall and weighing  245 pounds, with black hair with brown eyes. Leon Veney was last seen driving a black 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with New Jersey license plate C82LRH.
