South Adams soccer falls to #3-ranked Canterbury

On Thursday evening the #18 South Adams Starfires girls soccer team squared off with #3 Blackhawk Christian at home, falling by a final score of 4-2. The lady Starfires were looking to ride the “hot foot” of Ali Smith, who had five goals in the season opener, going into this game. Ali is hunting down the career goal record at South Adams (83). The individual state record for goals in a single year is 52.
