SWCD to host meeting for landowners

The Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a public meeting at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 8 at the Adams County USDA Service Center, 975 S. 11th St., Decatur.
The purpose of the meeting is to bring together landowners, land users and public and private entities to identify and prioritize natural resource concerns in Adams County.
Participants will discuss how well Indiana’s current technical information and programs address local resource concerns and will review the ranking process of the Natural Resources Conservation Service Environmental Quality Incentive Program, which provides funds to agricultural producers for a variety of conservation practices.
